[Mariana Spade]

"Maybe..." She wasn't really sure if she wanted to show them what she had. Her dark exterior was a reputation that she liked to keep.

[Jonothan Wiles]

"Alright." He nodded. "I understand. Before last night, I probably wouldn't be as open about it."

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"What happened last night? I saw the news but wasn't really paying attention. I heard something about a girl with pink hair following the cops and assumed it was Astrid."

[Jonothan Wiles]

"I had a dream. That's the easiest way to describe it." he explained. "There was a girl, like the news described. She seemed to be from another time or another planet. There were black government vehicles, too. Following led to a warehouse where the seemed to be guarding something. They heard a howl and said it was a dangerous creature. The creature was by the lake. It was as big as a house and was an amalgam of various animals. It eventually disappeared and then another girl showed up. She was pale and talked weird."

"So that is why the lake is off limits? Huh... maybe it also explains the disappearing people." She mused. "Alien abductions... that is silly, right?"

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

Laura sighed and slumped her shoulders, then she grabbed her backpack and moved so they were sitting in a circle. Looking both of them in the eye she said. "It's a chimera, the thing by the lake. It emerged from the water the other night as a ball of liquid then it transformed into a chimera from myth."

She reached into her backpack and pulled out an old looking scroll that glowed the same way as Jonothan's pen and Laura's now clearly visible bracelet. Unrolling it on top of her backpack they could see several glowing marks on in including one of note near the lake.

[Jonothan Wiles]

"Yeah, a chimera." he nodded. "It's strange, seeing sci-fi and fantasy mixed in a modern setting, like mixing multiple stories together."

He looked at the map. 'And, now we have The Goonies."

[Mariana Spade]

Mariana was taken aback. She blinked a few times to get her bearings. It was odd for her to show such emotion, but it was a freaky map showing weird things. "Wait, that thing is real?!?"

[Jonothan Wiles]

Jono was simply staring at the map, studying each glowing spot and trying to associate it with what was in that location.

[Amaterasu]

One of the glowing locations was the warehouse where Coyote and Jezzy saw the two agents of AEGIS.

"Hmm..." Jono pointed to one spot. "This is that warehouse."

Jono realized that the two agents at the warehouse were from AEGIS.

"I've heard of a government agency called AEGIS. They look for items like this, and people like the Chimera and us. I think they're holding things or people that warehouse."

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

Laura began to roll the map back up.

"I've never heard of AEGIS but some of us want to go down to the lake tonight and check out the chimera. So I am looking for people who, like me and a few others, are more than meets the eye."

[Jonothan Wiles]

"That sounds a bit like the pink haired girl, actually." he chuckled. "I can show you the spot, if you'd like."

[Mariana Spade]

"ummm... not to be a party pooper or anything but like... I don't know how to wrap my head around this... like... you just told me that these thing is looming around and you want to go chase it...Sounds un poco loco..." Mariana shook her head. "Pero... I guess weirder things can happen... right?"

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"Well I'm not going alone and...well...cards on the table I can be very strong and tough when we want to be. We aren't exactly planning to charge at the thing." She said as if you was telling someone not there that their plan was stupid. "But we also don't want this thing coming into town and hurting people."

"If you think you can lead us down there past the adults Jonothan that would be great but umm, that pen does more than inspire your writing right?"

[Jonothan Wiles]

"It does." he nodded. "But, my dream didn't help much against that thing. Just covered it in smoke, really. I'll use the pen if needed, though."

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"OK then, well what about you Mariana? So far everyone that can see the glow has something that glows and that thing does something to them."

[Mariana Spade]

"As long as I can go to my poetry thing I guess." Mariana wasn't really sure what she was getting herself in.
