Being displaced from its home a pair of mountain lions are roaming the streets. The creatures are scared, hungry, and wild. People are locking their doors and keeping out of the street. Marshall has tried to tame the beast with little success. He had called animal control but they aren't in the city.

Who will save Marshall from the peril that he faces.

Coyote Jack crept through a nearby alley, trying to get a sense of the situation.

Laura crept from shadow to shadow not sure if she was hunter or hunted.

Are you SURE this is safe?

OF COURSE NOT! But that's what makes it exciting. I can tell you that I used to fight things far scarier than a large cat. I need to know what this diminished form can do.

Simon got wind of the wild animals prowling the streets when his neighbor called to make sure he was at home and all the doors and windows were shut. His mother and father were working late. Of course, this meant he would have to leave the safety of his home, no self respecting hero would hide at home when people were in danger.



Eagle jogged down the street without a care in the world, his bag of discs swaying side to side with his gait, a few extras packed inside.

What teenager doesn't break curfew every now and again?


What hunter can resist big, dangerous game?

Knife out, the Uncompahgre Exile stalks through the streets, moving near silently.

Marshal was glad he wasn't alone, but this band of weird people made him a bit more on edge. "Ummm...Are you here to help?"

The Exile is careful and deliberate about finding a good position. He focuses intently on doing so, not hearing a question, but getting himself where he needs to go. Or thinks he does.

Eagle was fascinated by the large cats, he had never seen wild animals like this so closely.

Despite his interest, he wasn't going to let some cats get the jump on him, they weren't even cheetahs.

"Here kitty kitty, pspspspsps."

Espee looked at Marshal and moved to defend the man.

Seeing the conquistador move to guard Marshall, Eagle decides to go on the offensive and get the animal's attention. Pulling a boomerang out of his pack (he's been waiting for a chance to try it out) he throws with deadly accuracy. The boomerang makes contact with his quarry with a satisfying thud, but doesn't return. He supposes that only happens when you miss.

"Now now kitty, if you don't want more of that, go on back home."

That hurt the Lion, and another appeared out of the shadows. The first lion attention was called by Eagle. The giant cat pounced at the boomerang tossing guy.

Marshall stepped back, watching how these people have more talent than him.

Eagle easily dodges out of the way as the big cat pounces where he once was. Operation distraction successful.

He finds himself close to where the boomerang landed and does a quick roll on the ground to grab it, throwing it at the back of the confused mountain lion as he pops up. The disorientation from rolling on the ground before throwing was not something he's practiced (that will be soon remedied) and the throw goes wide.

The stroke fidn't even come close, but hopefully it got the mountain lion's attention.
