[D1 EA Science class] Chemicals and boomsticks

Cam hadn't heard her question but caught her looking back at him. He nodded a greeting the headphones over hos ears just visible beneath his hoodie.

Astrid reached over and pushed the headphones off one of Camerons ears so he could hear.

"Yeah pretty much. Teachers have a lot of leeway to teach in their own style, some only teach from the book word for word and some teachers never open the book. Most of the real learning is in the advanced classes. School in America is a glorified daycare. If you have a good memory or take lots of notes like me you can read all the textbooks at the start of the year and coast by in classes like English and History."

She pulled out a red spiralbound notebook, an image of George Washington riding his horse over a field of Native American corpses on the cover and slid it over to Astrid then turned to look at Cameron. "You two have met already?"

"Yeah we've met out by the lake" she answered, looking at Cameron for a few moment before turning back to Laura.

"In Norway the teachers had a set out plan and books were not a huge part of it. They were references, and teaching us was as important as us reading books. Is a shame, history is a very interesting subject, but if it is just read book and make notes I guess I'll have to do more self learning. Can I see your notes so I am at least up to date with where this class is at?"

[Amaterasu]

Ms. Donovan clapped. "Well, class, let's begin... tell me types of energies that you know. One at the time please do not give me a list because I want everyone to participate... yes!"

[Elijah Cooper]

Coop sits and stares, holding his quiet unless he gets called on.

This isn't band; here, he's far from first chair.

Jono began to construct a few dungeon traps in his head.

"...Flux?" She said when her turn came.

She'd heard it somewhere; though she wasn't sure if it was right.

"Like in that Back to the Future movie?" Ms Donovan tilted her head. "Well... it does produce 1.6 GW... right?" She was pensive.

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"Nuclear energy?" Laura whispered, hoping someone near here would repeat it louder.

"Do you mean like...Kinetic energy?" Astrid said when she was asked to give an energy

Cam had reacted with a little surprise when Astrid had just pushed one of his headphones off but before he could react the teacher started talking.

kinetic, thermal, chemical, electric, potiential Cam rattled off a few in his head but didn't raise his hand.

"Potential energy." Simon adds. Although afterwards he thinks shouldn't they be talking about chemistry not physics? Right?

[Amaterasu]

The teacher turned to write on the board. "Well classics, Nuclear, Kinetic, potential... what else? How about you Mariana?"

[Mariana Spade]

"Chemical?" She said skeptically with a shrug.

"Sound." Jono added, after thinking it over.

Coop takes notes on his staff paper. Not all of them are for class, or at least this class.

"Good, both of you... Anyone else... Elijah...Cameron?" The teacher inquired.

"Umm...solar?"
