[D4, EE, Simon's House] Nightstorm Session 0 (Open)

[Simon Lizotte]

Simon pulled out a seat for Richard as he spoke, "It's okay man... I'm sure Genesis is okay." Simon tried to sound convincing, but he didn't have a lot of confidence in what he'd said.

"It's fine, natural even, to feel that way about someone who's bullied you. It's not our fault how we think or feel, it's about what actions we take. Things are pretty crazy out there right now. The animal attacks and the missing people... and you said you heard a voice? Why did that stand out?"

[Amaterasu]

"Yeah... It... It... it... it sounded like Gen. I... I... I got scared." He took a seat. "Mom is going to freak out... I don't know what to do... Gen is mommy's and daddy's little princess, and I am just junk..." He was having an anxiety attack as he started to have trouble breathing.

[Jonothan Wiles]

Jono had found a glass and filled it with cool water. He offered it to Richard.

"Relax. Take your time. When was the last time you actually saw her?"

[Mariana Spade]

Mariana looked up from the book and sighed. "Maybe it was her... even if she bullies you, she is your family. Telepathic communication can be a thing, right?"

[Amaterasu]

"I last saw her last night before going to bed..." He took the glass of water. "She was really exited about this game..." He lowered his head. "She really likes Kevin."

[Simon Lizotte]

"You're not junk man," Simon awkwardly puts his hand on Richard's shoulder in a move to comfort him. He'd been on the receiving end from his father, but it didn't feel very... effective when he did it. His gives Richard a little pat on the back and takes a step away.

"Could you hear what she said? In the locker room."

[Jonothan Wiles]

"Has she disappeared unexpectedly before?"

[Amaterasu]

"No... not without telling me... she trusts me to... cover for her."He sighed. "She said something about going with her...and killing me if I told mom...but I didn't see nothing around."

[Jonothan Wiles]

"I'm just wondering if there's somewhere she goes, somewhere we could look for her."

[Amaterasu]

He sniffled. "She... might be in the cabin near the lake." He sighed. "But the lake was off limits... and...and I don't think she be there."

[Jonothan Wiles]

"Does she go there a lot?"

[Mariana Spade]

Mariana looked at the boys and sighed. Gen had been a pest, but if these guys are concerned, well, she would have to help. The girl left the books on the sofa and walked to the boys. "I have heard of raves done by the lake... maybe it was one of those... she probably passed out and lost track of time." If she was concerned about the girl, it didn't show. Her monotone voice continued. "She should be okay."

[Simon Lizotte]

Simon looked to Mariana when she spoke up and nodded along. "Yeah, she's probably out partying, waiting to come back and enjoy all the attention."

He said quietly, to the side, "I'm sorry Mariana, I don't know if we're gonna play much tonight."

Then he spoke up louder, addressing Richard, "How about this, if she isn't back by tomorrow morning, we can play hooky and go looking."

[Mariana Spade]

Mariana shrugged. "It happens... Maybe we can create my character and play next time." The girl nodded. "I game to play hooky."

[Jonothan Wiles]

While everyone was talking, Jono looked to see if Richard had his walkman on him.

[Amaterasu]

He has his headphones and walkman with him. "I didn't mean to break your game night... I am so sorry." He frowned. "If you want I can join... it was interesting talk back at the dinner."

[Simon Lizotte]

"Don't worry about it. But hey, that's a really good idea. We can play some to get your mind off things. You guys won tonight, we should be celebrating."

A timer dings and Simon goes to pull the pizzas out of the oven. "Pizza should cool off enough to eat soon. Mariana brought some nachos. We can roll up some characters and go on a little adventure."

[Jonothan Wiles]

"Yeah. Let's roll up some characters. Mariana is thinking about a cleric. I might do a thief or a ranger. What would you be interested in Richard?"

[Amaterasu]

"A... a... fighter... Strong one...." Richard didn't give it a thought. "I could wield a sword..."

[Jonothan Wiles]

"With a shield, or do you want a big, two-handed sword?"
