(D2, EM, Open) Walking to school

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"Well this is perfect. So you know how they closed off the lake to public? Well that's because a chimera came out of the lake. Cameron and I want to go down there tonight after it gets dark and check it out, see if we can do anything about it before it attacks the town or something. Is that something you would be interested in?"

[Astrid Hansen]

"You are going to go look for a Chimera?"

There was a look of surprise.

"That is surprising. I did not think you would be one to run headfirst into such a danger. I will be there also though if you are wanting me."

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"Yeah I know it seems out of character." She said brushing her hair back. "If I couldn't turn into a giant rock man it would be crazy but he REALLY wants to test himself against something on this planet. It would be great if you could come, Cameron wanted to go down last night but I convinced him that we needed more than just the two of us."

[Astrid Hansen]

"You are smart" Astrid confirmed with a nod "I'll come along. Where do we meet?"

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"Ummm, meet me on the corner of Pine and Boulder, trailhead's only a few blocks from there or we can try and climb up the hill and go around through the trees. Just keep an eye out for cops, Officer Terry likes to patrol for kids at night and give them rides home."

[Astrid Hansen]

"If I was not good at hiding I would have been killed by a polar bear by now" Astrid said with another nod "Pine and Boulder, ok. I will have to check where that is, still learning my way around the city."

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"Oh, right, Boulder is the big street on the edge of town near where the trail starts. Just walk down that and you should see me." Laura turned and they exited the alley now much closer to the school.

[Astrid Hansen]

"To me every street here is big" Astrid laughed "however I think I know where you mean. I live near to the edge of town so I will just leave earlier in case I get lost somewhere, can just ride my bike."

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"Yeah that works, there is a large planter full of bushes there you can hide it behind so no one steals it. Not that there are a lot of people who do that here, more likely it would get taken to the police because they someone thought it was lost or abandoned."

They walked on nearing the crosswalk to the school grounds.

"Ahn'Gr won't stop asking about Hel. You said she is powerful and he is eager to see how powerful. I had to teach him the concept of sparring and now he wants to spar with anything and everything like he's Goku or something."

[Astrid Hansen]

"I would prefer the police not taking my bike" Astrid said with a frown "so I shall hide it well."

There was a tilt of the head.

"Hel is...she is a goddess, and does not like mortals. She uses magic and talks to the dead. I cannot say how strong she is except more than a mortal, as one does not normally try to fight the gods."

[Laura Dawson/Enrage]

"I thought gods needed mortals, why does she hate them? Wait." Laura stopped suddenly, a stunned look on her face. "Are you saying that one religion is objectively true? Are you proof of divinity? Holy shit that's crazy."

[Astrid Hansen]

Astrid shrugged.

"It would appear to confirm that there is something within the Pagan religion the Vikings believed. Hel watches over the underworld, and she prefers the dead to the living in interactions. She doesn't like the...way the modern people act in life."
