The poison in the dart is a sleep agent.

//Attack roll from Coyote if he is to use this Dart. Tier 6... light weapon lowers to to tier 5, TN 15 if you have practiced in light weapons lower the tier by 1 more.

The dart struck the creature and transferred its poison.

As the Dart made contact with its skin the poison started to make it sleepy. It was unable to move. The rage in it started to subside.

Eagle hastily pulls out another disc, this one with a peace sign emblazoned on the face. He takes aim and throws, but as he predicts the creatures movement and throws to where it should be, it stops moving and the disc flies wide.

Espee moved closer to the beast that now was falling asleep. "Sleep tight, big lump." He whispered.

"Yeah, ain't s'nice now?"

The Exile casts about, searching through the imposed darkness for the source of the earlier laughter and emergent growling.

"Might could do yer own dirty work."

Coyote fished out the other item the dreamer had left for him. He held the mirror at an angle, allowing him to see the chimera's reflection.

Exile knew there was someone else around as his blindness came now to be cleared. He could now see the Chimera was sleeping.

Coyote in the dim light provided by the moon would see in his mirror water and a humanoid shadow deep inside.

The laugher had subsided and a growl could be heard. "Wake up you stupid beast!" A female voice could be heard.

Eagle drew another disc, but stayed his hand for the time being. Instead, he searched for the source of the voice wanting this creature to wake.

Jack was continuing to monitor the creature, but looked around for the other threat.

The water from the chimera was dismissed. The humanoid inside had somehow disappeared. The shadow of a woman came into view. "This is just the beginning of the new order!" She growled. "This town and its power will be mine... and you cannot stop me."

Eagle was on alert. When the woman started speaking, he felt a sense of deja vu, a hint of a memory of a forgotten dream from the night before. This agitation served well enough to put up a mental wall between him and whatever whammy this woman was trying to lay on them.

When the time comes, the Exile casts about ineptly, limbs flopping like the fringes on his buckskins as he pivots about in vain.

Were it a dance, it might be a graceful thing.

As this is the middle of a fight, however, it ain't.

The mental attack of this female was powerful. She started to leave as the heroes chew on the idea of this woman trying to take over the town. She disappeared in the shadows.

Narrator voiceover: Our heroes have defeated this odd creature. Now they know it was controlled by another person. Who is this mysterious woman? Who was inside the Chimera? What power does this city hold?

Stay tuned for the next installment of Colorado Unmasked.
